DATAunit
The unit ‘Data’ (DATAunit) ocuses on data handling and preparation with processing purposes. The unit includes three operational tracks:
- ‘Data Collection’: generation and handling of a database populated with health, clinics and science data
- ‘Data Infrastructure’: ICT and networks supports
- ‘Data Protection’: security and privacy issues
M2unit
The unit ‘Modeling&Methods’ (M2unit) focuses on the formulation of data interpretation models and on the realization of computational methods for the numerical reduction of such models. The unit includes four themed tracks:
- ‘Computational Imaging’: image reconstruction, de-noising, segmentation, integration; pattern recognition and radiomics; parametric and statistical parametric imaging
- ‘Systems Biology and Medicine’: tracer kinetics, connectivity analysis in neuroscience, biochemical networks
- ‘Computational Genomics’: bioinformatics, gene networks
- ‘Biostatistics’: clinical trials planning, post-hoc analysis and meta-analysis, longitudinal models, diagnostic scores
SOFTLab
The unit ‘Software’ (SOFTunit) focuses on the implementato of computational tools and of the corresponding graphical interfaces
